Quinton J. Zettlemoyer

1993 - 2020

Quinton J. Zettlemoyer, 26, left this earth alone on October 26, 2020 in Danville after a long 8-year struggle from a disease that took many before him.  He was loved by so many and was not truly alone, as he knew who loved him. He had a smile that melted everyone’s heart and his hugs were strong.

Born in Lewisburg on December 20, 1993 he was the son of James R. Zettlemoyer and Dawn (Hartley) and Michael Zettlemoyer, Jr. He was his parents’ true blessing since he was a pre mature birth.

His passion in life was his love of fishing.  During his childhood, he could always be found fishing at the family pond.  He learned to skateboard when he was 8 and was doing tricks by the time he was 9.  He then found passion in riding 4-wheelers and dirt bikes with his family and friends. He loved the outdoors and was always with his Great Dane, Sampson, who was with him for 10 years. He was proud to get his first tattoo.

He is survived by his grieving parents, his sister, Samantha J. (Zettlemoyer) Fedder and husband, Theodore; his only niece, Mackenzie Fedder; and his paternal grandmother Jean (Yost) Zettlemoyer.

Quinton was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Herbert Zettlemoyer, Sr; his maternal grandparents, Robert T. and Edith M (Gray) Hartley; his beloved aunt and caregiver as a baby and toddler Minerva (Hartley) Carr; his cherished aunt and uncle, Brenda (Zettlemoyer) and Clifford Elensky and his many friends who he is joining in heaven.

Prayers go out that no more will go to soon from this life from this awful disease.

Quinton will be loved and missed for eternity by his family and friends.

Friends and relatives will be received from noon -1 p.m. on Saturday October 31 at the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. front St. Milton.  Funeral services will be held privately.

Condolences
