Patrick J. “Skip” Fitzpatrick, Jr.

1948 - 2021

Patrick J. “Skip” Fitzpatrick, Jr. 73, of Milton passed away on July 18, 2021 at his son, Kevin’s home.  Born in Williamsport on February 18, 1948 he was the son of the late Patrick J. and Sarah M. (Chere) Fitzpatrick.


Skip attended Milton Schools and he worked as a machinist for Culbro Tobacco in Philipsburg. 

He also worked for Payton Investigations in State College as well as Maintenance for The Opryland Hotel in Nashville, TN.  He was a veteran of the Navy serving during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of the American Legion and the Moose of Milton. 


He enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, and song writing.  He was also involved with Airplay International of Nashville, TN.  He was nominated for and received the Airplay International “King Eagle” Award in 1994 and in 1995. The songs he was noted for were “No Turning Back” and “The Eagles Eagle”.


He is survived by three sons, Kevin Fitzpatrick and fiancé, Shannon Guffey of Selinsgrove, Michael Fitzpatrick of Northumberland, and Patrick Fitzpatrick III of Northumberland; a daughter, Dianne Kyttle of Montandon; and ten grandchildren along with one step grandchild. 


Skip was preceded in death by a sister, Jacqueline (Jackie) Lower.


He will be dearly missed!


Services will be held privately.
